Make your own beautiful, sparkling embroidered Mylar® greeting cards using your embroidery machine. The Mylar® gives these cards sparkle without using metallic

machine embroidery thread.

 

**These kits require a

hoop size of 5" x 7" or larger.**

 

Our Mylar Greeting Card Kits include:

• 5 Blank Cards with hand embossing.  The long open edges are “deckle” cut.  (Since we     cut, fold, print, ink, stamp and/or emboss all of our own card stock, there may be slight     differences in the cards, as with anything handmade.)

 • 5 sheets of mylar

• 5 pieces blank card stock to cover the inside front

• 5 white envelopes

• Templates

• Complete Instructions (with photos)

• Color Information sheets

• CD with designs (formats: DST, EXP, HUS, JEF, PCS, PES, SEW, VIP, VP3,    XXX)

You'll also need:

• 70/10 or 80/12 Embroidery, Denim or Universal Needles

• 40 wt. Rayon or Polyester machine embroidery thread

• Heavy weight cut-a-way stabilizer

• Transparent or Painter's Tape (to adhere the card stock to the stabilizer)

• 3” x 3” Post-it Notes (optional – I like to use them with the tape to adhere the card stock to the stabilizer)

• Paper glue or double-sided tape

 

 

Note: Although these designs are digitized specifically for use with mylar on card stock, they can be used on fabric as any other design.  However, please be aware the fill is not as solid (or dense) as most designs.
